Event Preview: Club Spank

Welcome to Club Spank, Brighton’s freshest offering to the kinky party scene. Spank has recently whipped back home to the UK from sunny Australia, where they have been organising fetish dance parties for 6 years. The first Brighton Club Spank takes place at H-Bar & Club, Hove on Friday 19th October, with the theme ‘Garden of the Undead’ (“All Hallow’s Eve is coming early this year, and it’s got a serious kink-on”)

The event aims to combine the sophistication of a large ‘champagne-style’ extravaganza with the friendliness and smiles of an intimate local club. There is a strict ‘no outfit, no entry’ fetish dress code, and people are encouraged (but not forced) to dress to the Halloween theme. Spank would love to see vampires and zombies galore: quality fancy dress outfits are acceptable but should ideally be ‘kinked’ up via the use of fetish accessories and sexy or horror makeup (there will even be a special-effects artist on hand should you want face make-up on the night). Think BDSM toys, corsets, high heels, collars & chains and gothic glam. There will be best-outfit prizes on the night, so get planning to wow Spank with your stunning outfit.

Spank state that they stand firmly and proudly for ‘fluffy’ fetish. There is a private dungeon for moderate BDSM play (no sharps or bloodplay allowed), but this is an excellent party for those of you curious about the fetish scene who might be a little nervous of their first time. The crowd is very friendly, and newcomers can be shown around the club by the lovely Spank hostess, with any questions answered about the night. But be reassured, no public sex or nudity are allowed at Spank so you won’t be met by any scary sights.
Partygoers are strongly encouraged to read up on fetish dress code and etiquette on Facebook, or via the Australian website  (a UK website is in the pipeline). If you need costume inspiration, the website is also a great place to check outfits at a host of past Spank parties.

So if you’re looking for a night of fetish dress up and kinky shenanigans, get that date in your diary now.
