Toy Review: LoveHoney Happy Rabbit G-Spot Rechargeable Rabbit Vibrator

Happy Rabbit main

Rabbit vibrators have flooded the market for years. Manufacturers have been at it like the proverbial and now Lovehoney have thrown their tuppence in with their Happy Rabbit range. We’re happy to report that, after a brief moment of annoyance, actually, it was a very satisfying trip down the rabbit hole!

The Happy Rabbit G-Spot vibrator is presented in a stylish black gift box with the Lovehoney logo only subtly visible on the top. There is a cardboard sleeve that surrounds the box, with an image of the toy on it and the words ‘G-Spot’, but remove this and you’ve got, simply, a plain black storage box with the Lovehoney logo and the words ‘get happy’ on it. At a glance no one will suspect what’s being kept inside. Living in a shared house, it’s little touches like this that are especially useful.

Opening the product you’ll find the Happy Rabbit G-Spot (only available in black), a mains charger, satin storage pouch and a very basic instruction leaflet. After the initial, “ooh, this looks good!” like most sex toy fiends the first thing I did was push the buttons to get it going so I could see and feel the power and speeds of my new vibe. Push as I might, in all the combinations possible, the darn thing wouldn’t turn on. Upon checking the instructions, it turns out that the Happy Rabbit doesn’t come charged; it requires six hours of charging time. How amazingly annoying. Fair enough, it would be ready for bedtime, but I wanted to feel it straight away and experiment with it before the main event. This might be a personal bugbear, that a toy doesn’t arrive charged (or even a little bit charged), but it was a disappointment.

Plugging it in, the red charge light came on. According to the instructions (which I had plenty of time to read) this will remain for six hours until it goes green to signal it’s full. Expect two hours of play at full power once charged -a fact discovered only by reading the Lovehoney site product description, this wasn’t stated on the packaging or in the instructions anywhere.

Six hours later…

That’s enough moaning, honestly everything from here on in was good. The shaft is made from quality silicone, so felt wonderfully smooth and there weren’t any noticeable seams. Getting to grips with the controls was also really simple as there are only two buttons on the base; one for the shaft and one for the bunny. To turn on hold down either of the buttons. Each button is responsible for a different motor within the Happy Rabbit G-Spot, of which there are three: two motors in the shaft and one in the rabbit. Having a separate control for each is great because there’s the freedom to use them independently of each other if you wish.

In total there are three speeds and two vibration patterns. Although this doesn’t sound like many compared to some rabbits that come with three dozen or more vibrating combinations, it was a good amount of variation to keep it interesting and kept things simple to control. This is especially great if you’re one of these people (like me) that can’t be bothered/doesn’t need to trawl through tons of settings, because you can never remember which was your favourite anyway!

The top power level certainly packs a punch, but as you’d hope from a quality vibe, it is near silent. What makes the Happy Rabbit G-Spot noisy is the reaction it will evoke from you! From the degree of the curve and width of the tip (5.25 inches) it’s clear Lovehoney have done their research and know exactly how to hit the G-Spot. Couple this with clitoral stimulation from the bunny ears – which I wished were a tad more powerful, but they were still good – and you have a recipe for one intense orgasm!

Cleaning is simple as there are no tiny crevices, so it is nice and hygienic, but note that the Happy Rabbit G-Spot vibe is not waterproof. Do not submerge when washing, or use a damp cloth and antibacterial spray instead.

Lovehoney may say on their site, ‘it’s better to be happy than rampant’, but after testing this is certainly one rabbit that will make you rampantly happy!

The Happy Rabbit G-Spot Rechargeable Rabbit Vibrator costs £49.99 from Lovehoney.co.uk. Disclaimer: I was provided with a Happy Rabbit G-Spot for free in exchange for my honest review.

Hi I also got a Happy rabbit, but i lost the charger, please can you tell me what charger i should replace it with. I know its 230 – 240v input and 50hz but i dont know the output voltage. the details should be written on the plug. I would really appreciate the help. I would even buy the plug from you if you aren’t using it.
