Review: Passion Musca Babydoll and Escante Sheer Chemise with Plunging Cowl Neck

One of the most annoying things about having boobs bigger than a DD is finding sexy lingerie that actually fits. For years I would walk into high street stores such as Ann Summers or La Senza and pour over their stunningly sexy designs, knowing that at best they might cover a nipple and bit of tit. It’s no place for someone in the J cup department! The way forward then, as I’ve learnt from much trial and error and trying to squeeze my boobs into cup sizes not meant for them, is to opt for looser fitting lingerie. For bigger breasted women, as much as we love underwire in day to day bras for the support it offers, we need to not be afraid to say no to the underwire for lingerie and you’ll soon find there are a world of possibilities that open up to you. Here are two design styles I found worked especially well and covered up any concerns I may have had about sagging slightly. Better still, they suited both my nice and naughty side…

The Musca Babydoll by Passion screams cute and innocent. The sweet satin bow between the breasts, delicate embroidery around the middle and cleavage and soft sleeves can’t help but make you feel quite dainty when you slip it on. However, the sheer material, which leaves nothing to the imagination, still captures your sexy side and hints that although in white, you’re not so innocent after all.

The sleeves and wide neckline make this perfect for the buxom busted woman. The fabric is loose and flexible, so easy to pull around and cover the areas you require. Luckily, it’s not so loose that you’ll be popping out of the sides. Unless of course you want to, in which case pull those boobies out! There’s not much standing in your way!

Available in one size, which is great for the dress as it will stick to your figure (so you can be big up top and tiny around the waist, but it won’t hang off your boobs), but not so good with the accompanying thong. Made from the same sheer material, it looks great matching, but is a tiny triangle of a thing and even as a size 12, found it a bit tight around the hips.

Cowl neck designs are a god-send for big boobed ladies. The sweeping, draping fabric means you can be any size and they’ll cover nipples and more, but still give you the sexy side-boob look. Seductive: that’s the only way to describe the Escante Sheer Chemise with Plunging Cowl Neck as it sweeps over the body and plunges down to the navel. The open back certainly has the growl factor as it does away with even the thin, sheer layer covering your body.

A halter neck design, such as this, is always an extra plus. Although I read somewhere once that halter necks are a no-no for ladies with big chests (Trinny and Suzannah I think!), when it comes to sexy lingerie I actually think it’s a real plus and is often a key feature I look for when buying. Halter necks allow you more freedom to adjust how it sits over your tits. Pull it a bit tighter, but still so it’s comfortable, and it can even help to lift them slightly.

The fabric is super fine and it’s not hemmed at the bottom, so be careful not to pull it and wash on a delicate setting or by hand only. Comes with a matching thong and as this set is available in Small (UK 6-8), Medium (UK 8-10) and Large (12-14), you don’t need to worry about an oversized or undersized thong.
