Event: ‘Far From Grey’ Robert Babylon exhibition

Adult brand Harmony will be offering a new dimension to their customers’ fetish fantasies with the opening of ‘Far From Grey’ on Tuesday 1st April, an exhibition by erotic photographer and artist Robert Babylon.

Discover how much hotter bondage looks in several shades of neon as Robert’s unique, beautiful and extremely sexy canvases adorn the walls and be available for sale for the next two months among the whips, handcuffs and designer vibrators found in the basement of Harmony’s new boutique store on the edge of Soho. The UV and fetish photography and original hand painted artwork won’t fail to capture the attention and fuel the erotic imagination.

Robert is a member of the Guild of Erotic Artists. His award winning neon art work has been featured in the likes of SkinTwo and Jade magazine and exhibited around the world, including a solo exhibition at the World Erotic Art Museum on South Beach, Miami USA and in 2012 two pieces of Robert’s work were added to the permanent collection of Dr Naomi Wilzig – the 4th largest collection of fine-art erotica in the World. Closer to home he’s presented a collection of his work in Berlin, Cologne and at the Brighton Fetish Weekend in 2013. Where better though, than to host an erotic art exhibition than in a sex shop on the edge of London’s Soho – an area renowned for it’s liberal sexual attitudes.

Speaking about the upcoming display, Robert said: “Having my work and my name on display in Soho, which some might say is the original sex capital of the world, is a great plus for me. My work is designed to appeal to all genders and sexualities and I have always believed that erotica should be enjoyed by everyone. By displaying in Harmony’s Soho store I hope it will enable people unfamiliar with erotic art work to get a taste for it and offer regular visitors to Soho a chance to see something new.”

‘Far From Grey’ opens on Tuesday 1st of April in Harmony Store, 99a Charing Cross Road, London, WC2H 0DP and is free. Canvases and prints will be available to order and buy throughout the exhibition, with prices starting from £25. Affordable gift cards of Robert’s work will also be on sale for £4, which make a perfect gift. An evening with the artist will be held on Thursday 3rd April 2014 from 5pm. Hope to see you there!
