Book Review: Reaper’s Stand

I very much enjoyed the previous books in this series, so looked forward to reading this one on its release. Reaper’s Stand is the story of Reese ‘Picnic’ Hayes – he’s the president of the Reapers Motorcycle Club, so we’ve met him in the previous books, and he is, of course, a very pivotal character. He’s had a tough time of it – losing his wife and having to bring up two girls by himself, but things finally seem to be looking up for him. He enjoys nothing more than flirtations and the occasional nights with women – certainly nothing approaching relationship status.

That is, until he gets to know London Armstrong. She runs her own cleaning company and has contracts with the Reapers MC, which puts her directly in Picnic’s eyeline. And it seems he likes what he sees…

Despite both their best efforts, the attraction between them grows, and is given a massive boost when something happens to throw them together. From then on, it’s one drama after another – but how will things turn out? And will everyone make it through?

This book is one hell of a ride, if you’ll pardon the pun. It’s got tension, thrills, drama, sex, sensuality and romance. It’s a very gritty series, and this book was a great addition. I look forward to seeing what Ms Wylde comes up with next.
