The Passenger

Fate decided to have her way, and only Fate can be such a cow so as to combine a sweltering day with broken down office air conditioning among other things that I won’t go into right now. The heavy metal within the thermometer, I suspected, began to quiver and I, seated in front of my flickering monitor sighed and felt relieved that the long hand on the clock finally squeezed past five o’ clock mark. A couple of minutes before, I pressed enter and sent yet another email as the Darkness sang something to the tune of buying a one way ticket to hell and back.

Another day passed with unrequited lust. I shelved love a while back, opting for its impetuous, if not, brash cousin who fired up all my cylinders and fantasies without the obligation, routine or expectations that spoke of the slavery that we all know, but refuse to speak of – love. As I packed up and took one final look at the far right hand corner of my floor, I wondered whether the object of my lust fuelled dreams stumbled upon an insight over the month long enigmatic train of emails that entered his inbox just before closing time. He, whom I’ll call Daniel, never poked his head through the door. I suppose it would have been all too obvious, revealing his curiosity and Daniel never bowed down to such things. This wasn’t due to any stubborn or ruthless streak, he simply lived within his own world and that sphere involved starting nine sharp and shutting down the computer.

A man of few words, Daniel quietly sat, walked or talked in the manner most males, his age, did in this era. Shying away from the wolverine pack of veterans, most of the girls assumed he batted for the boyish teams. Sometimes I’d catch him glancing around, particularly after he received one of my sonnets, his amber eyes stopping on the throng of giggling Gerties seated in the workstation next to me. Failing to receive a return glance, he’d return to his screen, nut out figures and twirl his trusty Parker pen in his left hand. Odd moments saw me purposefully stride toward the copy room after he left his chair to collect printouts. The near collision, at his exit and my entry, at the junction of the copy room and the small blind spot called an entrance, always stoked my furnace. We’d simply nod, excuse ourselves and continue on our way. I’m not aware of the exact moment, but I noted my reaction one afternoon after I bent over the plastic tray and sorted various printouts. After Daniel collected his paper, his scent hung around the small room and I stood, half dazed, feeling my nostrils flare to suck up every drop that oozed from his skin. Like a vacuum nozzle busily absorbing each fallen crumb, my nose inhaled a steady stream of Daniel.

A good decade my junior, my ever fantasy began to unravel, transforming into a furious flail that whipped me into a bestial frenzy at the apex of my nocturnal orgasm night after night in the confines of my bed. At this stage, I remembered Humbert Humbert and although Daniel wasn’t a pubescent boy, I felt like a perverted zealot chasing a divine answer to the pivotal question of whether I’d fling myself at this innocent male portion of the present day. Many, like Daniel, regardless of all the images and pornography, are innocent or let’s say highly inexperienced. Daniel was yet to dive into the volcano of his dormant desires. He may have dabbled, as all do, with solo love, but the idea of hearing ‘I want to lick your cock’ was enough to jellify his core, or so I thought. Of course this is an assumption I make, but I also see it in his eyes and clumsy gestures. He doesn’t saunter or sail on by, he trudges through in fits and starts, carrying his tall bulky frame with him with the kind of finesse a whippet thin socialite carries her hefty luggage. This bashful-klutzy demeanour doesn’t reduce his pristine dark handsomeness; it enhances it and expands my curiosity. His unblemished skin, paired with lush ebony eyelashes are the prelude to the strains produced by rejection, relationships, duties, boyfriend responsibilities, expectations and general existential uncertainties. Each time we pass, he’ll offer the generic Hello, yet his eyes shyly dart away to focus on a minute speck on the far wall or the gray carpet. I avert my gaze simply because each time I peer into him I hear a throng of skittish maidens baying for blood, and I haven’t even leaned on the subject of his own family. I may not be, what his parents would describe, the ideal partner but that has little to do with my core desire of opening the gates of his untapped sexual potential, so the concerns of his mother has no relevance in the wider scheme, my scheme, of everything.

So bold, bawdy and aroused, I sat and ferried thoughts from one corner of my mind to the other. Logic locked horns with lust, sentiment sat in the middle shaking its head and I, admittedly frustrated and somewhat crestfallen that he left his workstation, decided to get up and continue on with the routine journey home.

Twenty floors remained. The elevator doors slid open; I stepped inside with the quiet certainty of an automaton until a hand shot through the metal jaws. My head jerked in time with the metal doors. The doors burst open and my head reflexively shot upward.

‘How rude!’ said Daniel and I was in a mind to apologize but the playful tone of his voice didn’t indicate him being offended by my usual inconsideration. When eight elevators decked the hall, one didn’t have to bother waiting for others.

My own voice ran away, hid behind my vocal chords like a skittish kitten viewing her first salivating canine.

‘Finished up?’

The two, rather new words, prompted a response.

‘No, I’m taking a break. I’ll be here until whenever,’ I casually said, feeling stupidity tug my brain cells. Daniel nodded, stood against the wall and eyed the sliding doors.

Dumb.

Imbecile!

‘I thought you left’ the elevator slid past the fifteenth floor, and was steadily making its descent.

‘I was in the kitchen,’ he replied. My pulse began to speak in riddles, signaling every other cell to stand up, take notice and grab my thoughts by the short and curlies. I imagined each cell within me to frown.

For God’s sake, do something.

My feet were the first to feel the rumble. An invisible hand grasped the cables and held them taut enough for the elevator to jiggle to a stop. Daniel eyed the lights, buttons and calmly smiled at me as he depressed the security intercom.

‘Are we…?

‘Hello?’ he repeatedly called, talking into the holey diamond pattern underneath the yellow glowing ground floor button.

‘Great, we’re stuck!’ I huffed but my huff morphed into a shapeless idea that pulsated red.

‘No one’s there!’

‘That’s impossible,’ I said, feeling my head relax and my heart rumble with anticipation.

‘I hope you’re not claustrophobic,’ he sympathetically said.

I shook my head. My affliction had nothing to do with enclosed spaces.

‘How long do you think it’ll take?’

It was then that he averted his eyes.

The conversation began to flow some twenty minutes after. His eyes danced about the metallic walled box and I brought my knees to my chest only because I felt the initial tug that is felt when each nipple tautens into a hard bead.

‘I’ve had an interesting week, an interesting month…’ he began.

My forehead creased, my lips met and it became my turn to stare at the slate colored carpet squares. Four by three, twelve in total, cheap poly-whatever fibers that equated to tight-ass central in terms of outlay…

Daniel shifted closer and smiled.

‘I’ve got something to tell you,’ he said, with one swift wink.

‘It better be interesting,’ I said, hugging my knees.

My mind recapped the Daniel anthology, everything from Your Hands to the little ditty I wrote about his sturdy, ample, square shaped ass. He drew his lips together, so that his full lower lip puckered, causing me to hold my breath.

‘It’s you isn’t it?’

A bold move, one that surprised me and I have to admit I didn’t expect such boldness, not from someone like Daniel, who wore vests under his shirts when the thermometer hit twenty-five degrees Celsius. Wearing a vest pointed to an overprotective mother, and this I knew because I befriended Toby, another office lad who lusted after Daniel on the sly.

‘I’ve been waiting for this moment,’ he continued, sidling up less than an inch away. His fingers patted my knee for a brief spell before his palm slowly rubbed my kneecap.

A new animal revealed itself to me, all in the form of Daniel.

His hand wandered up my bare thigh. Ignoring my dull gray skirt, his fingers walked up my left inner thigh and casually fingered the very edge - the edge of my sanity and warm knickers.

Each dermal zone smiled. I felt his fingertip casually circle the damp triangle of cotton between my legs.

'I never expected this,' I said, emboldened by his hot caress.

‘It’s wrong to jump to conclusions,’ he smiled, his chin jutting forth. Teasing me, while his fingers stroked, his tongue remained in, what I knew to be, his warm mouth.

‘Why don’t you kiss me already?’

I wasn’t sure if I heard a ‘tsk’ but he spared no time, deftly and eagerly sliding my skirt all the way to my hips before abruptly parting my legs.

‘Take them off,’ he whispered.

‘I believe that’s your job, Daniel,’ I said, parting my thighs further apart. Adopting a bold, sluttish pose, my knees met the floor and the muscles along my inner thighs tensed. Tongues swirled, I felt alive yet outside my body as his moisture dripped on my tongue.

Grunting, rubbing his clothed cock against my bare thigh, his fingers ducked under the, now damp fabric, and jiggled around my opening. Short, sweet and defintively deep, both his index and middle fingers rang me ragged as they slid in and out.

'Wait...'

The need to liberate my lower body from the fabric that bound my hips, dare I say cunt, thrashed about like a suffocating fish in my head. Daniel lent a helping hand, sliding out of my slippery tunnel, and only lowered my underwear enough to allow him back in.

Back against the cold wall, legs apart, I kept my eyes alive, open and tuned into each wet stroke.

My beaver, reacted like one infested with fleas. Itchy and rabid, my pussy itched and twitched for an invasion and our lips hadn't yet met.

Focusing on his rising bulge, I leaned forward, struggling with his fly and managing to unfasten the metal zip, I hear a low moan escape his lips. Time, limited, yet adequate, didn't stand still, nor would it wait until I licked his shaft. Plenty of time for that, some other time or some other place.

Grunting, twisting my head this way and that, my hand shoots upward and clutches the edge of his briefs, yanking them down in one clean sweep to expose his glowering cock.

On my knees, my pants stretched to their limit midway. The side of each thigh burns as the taut fabric of my panties digs into my skin. Behind, with a robust thrust, as his knees meet the scratchy carpet squares, his stiff scepter ploughs through my thighs, through the slippery channel that is guarded by my labia and into the elastic canal that can be described as a cup. Running well and truly over, he begins to slide and up the intensity. Rollicking thrusts push me forward, my hands reach out to meet the cold elevator wall.

A low howl of gibberish engulfs the small metallic vestibule and I feel, as he pulverises my pussy, the elevator tremble while suspended.

Frictionless, fluid and fruitful. The ride intensifies, Daniel wildly dances inside me and I then feel the tips of his ten digits score my backside. Parting my buttocks wider still, his pelvis gallops through, bucking wildy as he slams his way home. Skin on skin, his pelvis adheres to my warm flustered rear. His hands reach forth, grasp my hips and yank me back, into him, onto his cock, deeper into this furious fuck.

After the moments that see my inner walls close in on his velvet hard rod and his warm, cascading, liquid explosion, we slowly peel away from each other. Our skin, warm and dotted with rivulets of our fleeting lust, is once again draped in cloth and a voice trickles through the small speaker.

'We'll be off in a minute,' the security guard chirped from the ground level, and although I'd like to say otherwise, I can definitely detect a smile in his voice.
