This site is supposed to cater for female sexuality yet its layout is a precise copy of men´s sex sites. Men´s very disturbing sex fantasies, as projected on the net and in porn flics, ludicrously sets the standard when women tries to create something on their own.

I am a straight woman and for me the male is the object. And the more the merrier. I and many women like me really get off on watching men having sex, performing in front of me to please me and get me aroused before I join in. Does this scare you?

It´s funny how "lesbianism" has become an extension of male sexuality in porn, but a woman wanting to watch men is absurdly taboo and non-existent in porn.

Your section for Bisexuality is all two women and one man as if you catered for men, never two men having sex and one woman getting off. Nor is there a "gay" section.

Why? Are you really men?

We don't think the layout is remotely like men's porn sites - the lack of naked pictures and a pastel rather than black background being just a couple of things that differentiate it. I'd love the URLs for the sites you think it's an exact copy of as we wanted the design to be original and 'not porn-like' - there are enough sites of that kind out there already - and haven't found any porn sites that do look like Cliterati.

It's a shame you think that the fantasies are based on 'men's disturbing fantasies' as they *are* written by women (and the team behind Cliterati is female - look in the April 2001 issue of Cosmopolitan and you'll see a picture of me to prove it.) The site was actually inspired by Nancy Friday books (the incredible woman who first researched women's sexual fantasies back in the 1970s) rather than traditional porn as we want to represent what women want and didn't feel there was anything out there that did.

At the moment, we don't have any fantasies about men copping off with each other (although strangely enough, we were discussing adding some stories on that theme as you're entirely right that a fair few women do get off on it - and it certainly doesn't scare me that you're one of them. It's cool - and stupid that it's a taboo! We've added a poll to the front page to see how many women agree with you.) We'll get writing some and would love it if you submitted some too. Thanks for telling us what you want cos we want to make sure as many women as possible can find something to get off on on the site.

In terms of the stories in the lesbian/bi section being primarily about two women and one man, this is because a lot of women get off on the idea of being with another woman and a man. It's one of the most common fantasies. The women are the centre of attention, not the men, in these stories which is one of the most important things. And lots of women *are* getting off on those stories - just because it's not your kind of thing, doesn't mean that it's for men! There are also stories in there that are only about two women, with no men involved at all (and we'd love more lesbian stories subimitted).

There isn't a gay section because the site is designed for women of all sexualities, not men, be they straight or gay. However, if there's enough demand when we put up the stories about men having sex with each other with women getting off watching them, then we'll consider creating a new section for those stories.
